I went to the taste of Chicago last weekend, it was my first time that i have been there, it was packed and hot. I didn't have any idea about this event. I went there with my friends, we really had fun, we ate a lot of food, they blocked the streets because the cars could not drive through the taste, if they do it, it will be ridiculous. I had to see some of my mates there, we had a good time, we had to catch up. The music was blasting, everybody was dancing, we had a chance to listen to good music. The food was great, its the largest festival in Chicago area, I saw many tourists from different countires or different citires, we talked to them, I made many new friends from this event. I did like it a lot, I am sure that I am going to go there next year, I hope everyone will check it out.

Morocco has been based on Islamic old tradition for many years since the arab took over, I am very attached to my culture because we know how to greet our freinds. Greeting people is the most valuable thing in my culture because it does keep us in the right path. when we greet them, we usually take our time and make a conversation about their families and others. The most important thing is handshakes or kissing on the cheecks when the relationship has developed with our friends. Once you leave the house, you immediately say good-bye to the people who are around you. If you are invited to someone's house, you must bring a gift or whatever you want to bring with you except alcohol, unless you know that your host drinks. We don't usually open any presents we receive until the next day. Moroccan people like to invite others to come over for supper usually, and when you are invited to join them for dinner, you can bring all of your family members, including your wife and kids. Once you enter the house, you have to take off your shoes gently, and say " Peace be with you". You should dress up for this occasion, and shake everyone's hand from the right to the left. Before eating, you have got to go to the restroom to wash your hands, you shouldn't begin eating until the host starts eating first. In addition, you should eat and drink with the right hand; we never use our left hand because our prophet used to eat with his right. As this is a part of my culture that I am attached to, I hope I will keep practicing here with my relatives.
